First things first, let me explain the pictures I’ve used for this website. No, they are not very business-like, and that’s on purpose. I could have selected images that show me in a beautiful suit or other formal attire, I have those shots, and they are probably more appropriate for a business-based website, except they aren’t for this website.

You see, I started Pro Marketing Advice to help business owners have moments like these, moments you see in these pictures, moments I treasure!

As you can see, I’m no kid. I’ve built businesses and sold businesses. I have great success, and I know first-hand the bitter taste of failure.

I’ve spent a ton of time working, navigating recessions and boom-times. Sometimes my income matched the overall economy; other times, I was the exception. And now, I’m navigating my way out of a pandemic.

And, like most people, I spent a lot of time thinking while at home. As a small business owner, I had to work six or seven days a week when things shut down - many of those weeks for little to no pay.

I want to share with you a promise I made. It was late March 2020; my business was collapsed. Sleep was a luxury; I was worried about everything: my finances, health, family’s well-being, and the fate of my country and the planet.

No, not the recipe for a good night’s sleep! Laying there, an incredible desire came over me, and I made myself a promise. I said, “I’ve got to come out of this happier.”

Seems simple, but it was profound for me.

I want more of what you see in these pictures. Don’t get me wrong; I’m remarkably blessed. But, I wondered… why can’t every day be like this?

So, I’ve made profound changes to my business. More time with the people I love… PERIOD! I also thought about the things in my life that make me the happiest besides being with my family. I volunteer at a homeless shelter, and it brings me incredible fulfillment. Helping someone who’s in need is one of the most profound experiences, somehow it seems like you’re the one in need, you’re the one who’s getting, rather than giving.

And that’s the seed that’s created this website.

I’ve worked on Madison Avenue, for the largest advertising agency in the world (at the time). I’ve sold media, represented clients like Disney, Colgate and Proctor, and Gamble, and I’ve helped countless small businesses be successful.

Then, I opened my own business. If you own your business, you know the story, long hours, lots of sacrifices, and success. Again, I’m so blessed, so fortunate!

For 15-years, we were hugely successful! I also maintained a small group of clients whom I helped market their small businesses. Things were great, but something changed that night, staring at my ceiling.

I decided I wanted to help a lot of small businesses!

When this pandemic hit, it exposed every business’s warts. I saw things I didn’t like about my business, some things that I should have changed a long time ago. Lesson learned I set out to change them ASAP.

And I saw other businesses struggling. I want to help!

I know how to generate sales, install systems, and bring people into a business ready to buy. Now that you’re here, I’m going to show you how to do it in your business.
