Clearly, you should optimize your for SEO. Here’s where I will drill down a bit for you. Your success at SEO has a lot to do with the overall number of competitors in your market, and we will cover the methods to handle this challenge. But, whether you have a lot of competitors, or only a few, you’re always going to be improving your SEO by adding quality content.

Buying ads online is clearly where you can lose a lot of money. Let’s talk a bit about how to minimize the losses, and that’s through measuring the ad’s success. You will want to make sure you set your site up properly in Google Analytics. Which tells you how many visitors, how long they’ve spent on your site, etc. And, if at all possible you should be selling directly from your website. Yep, collecting money on your site. When you do this, your website becomes a sales team. If someone comes across your website, and they have their credit card out, ready to buy, why not say yes?!?

Here’s another great reason to accept money on your website, it allows you to measure your online advertising’s ROI. You see, with Google Analytics, and the pixels available to track someone from clicking onto your ad, right through the credit card being charged you have a VERY accurate way to measure the performance of your advertising.

In this scenario, you can look at the cost per click, total amount of clicks, the ad cost, and see the gross profit, the sales for each ad, each keyword, etc. Listen, if an ad costs you $1.00, and you earn $2.00, it’s a great ad. And, the bigger the gap, the better the ad’s preforming and the more money it warrants.

Listen, if your eyes are rolling into the back of your head relax. I’m not going to turn you into a computer programer, but I will show you ways you could achieve the above, and I will give you options to outsource these at a remarkably low cost. Some of it’s so easy you need to just find the right piece of code, and copy and paste it into your website, and now you’re tracking information that will allow you spend money wisely, and make sure you’re getting the most bang for your advertising buck!

You’ve probably realized this, if you can accurately track your online expenditure compared to revenue that’s some REALLY powerful information! When you harness your advertising expense compared to ROI, Return on Investment, you’re operating at an incredible advantage compared to your competition not doing this, so why not grab this advantage, with both hands?
